What started as a vision to bridge the gap between quality agricultural inputs and the hardworking farmers of Central Province has blossomed into a diversified enterprise that touches nearly every facet of rural development.

The Seeds of an Idea (2013)
H.M. Agrovert General Dealers Services & Limited was registered in 2013 by two visionary directors, Ms. Hazel Mulikita and Mr. Maxwell Tembo. Recognizing the potential of Zambia’s agricultural sector, they identified a critical need: farmers required more than just products—they needed a trusted partner who could guarantee quality, provide advisory support, and offer reliability. With a small shop and an even smaller team, we opened our doors with a simple promise: integrity above all.
Branching Out: A Decade of Diversification
As our reputation for honesty grew, so did the demands of our customers. We listened. We adapted. The trust farmers placed in us for their pesticides and fertilizers naturally evolved into requests for other essentials. This trust propelled our expansion into new sectors.
- 2015: Recognizing logistical challenges faced by our clients, we launched our Transportation division.
- 2017: To embrace the future of energy, we introduced Solar Products, bringing sustainable power to off-grid communities.
- 2019: We expanded into Construction and General Supplies, supporting local infrastructure and schools.
- 2021: Committed to financial inclusion, we launched Mobile Money and Banking Agent services, turning our outlets into community financial hubs.
- 2023 & Beyond: Celebrating a decade in business, we solidified our presence with multiple outlets across Mkushi, Kapiri Mposhi, Serenje, Chitambo, and Luano, and entered the grain trading market to support farmers from “seed to sale.”

Our vision has always been clear: to be the most trusted and preferred partner for integrated rural development in Zambia. We do not view ourselves as just a supplier, but as a catalyst for community upliftment. - 2024: Projected turnover surpasses ZMW 20 Million.
